Random!

While going through my pictures, I realized that I'd left a lot out from the month of October. Sorry about the length, but this is my attempt to get completely caught up!

The month started off with us going to the pool a lot. It was finally not too hot to go outside!

Cam and I both celebrated birthdays! (The pics from my b-day are on a CD and I'm too lazy to go get them out right now!)

We had a really fun night at the park and had to actually get out our jackets. We got Hudson to go down the slide by himself without crying!

I forgot to post this pic of me and Lindsey and our kiddos from the pumpkin patch.

Another pool day. This time in Nov and at Cam's work.

A fun afternoon at the Houston Zoo this past weekend.

Halloween 2009

I love every holiday so much more now that we have Hudson! This year we dressed him up as a spider. He isn't a big fan of wearing extra clothing, so this one worked out pretty well. I can't blame him since Cam and I are not big fans of dressing up either, as you can see. I thought I did well to put a paper pumpkin on my belly! We had a fun night at our ward's Fall Fest and doing the whole trunk-or-treat thing.

My friend Lindsey and I went to a "pumpkin patch" before Halloween so we could take some pics of the kids in their costumes. (A pumpkin patch here is pretty much grass with some imported pumpkins spread around!) I decided next time I venture out to take pics, I need some backup, A.K.A. Daddy, but we still had a fun time.

New Orleans

Here are some of my favorite pictures from New Orleans. It rained so hard the night we got there that we were lucky we didn't float away in the car-literally! When we opened the car doors to run into the restaurant, the water was almost coming into the car and we were all soaked by the time we waded into the restaurant! Too bad we didn't get any pictures of the water. It was raining too hard for cameras, and by the time we came out, it had all drained. I was glad it kind of cleared up the next day so we could get out and do our site seeing. Thanks again mom and Keri Beth for coming. Can't wait to see where we get to go next year! :)

My mom loves cemeteries, so she obviously found the ones in N.O. very interesting!

Best Birthday Presents Ever!

Here are some pictures from when my mom and sister came out shortly after my birthday. We're trying to make it a tradition that they come and see me for my birthday, which I think is the best gift ever! We hung out at our house for a few days and went one night to show them around where Cam works. My sister even won 40 bucks playing the nickel slots!

Way to go sis!

On Monday after we went to the big Dr. appt. we left to spend the night in New Orleans. On our way, we stopped to eat an authentic Cajun lunch at Pat's. Everyone except me tried some interesting food, including fried frog legs. (Let's just say that I'm not very adventurous with food.) I got my lunch from the only other option around, McDonald's! We were also able to stop and do our first bit of shopping for our little girl at Carter's. It was so much fun to shop with my mom and sister!

I am so far behind in my blogging for probably the first time ever! We are still working on getting a new computer since ours broke the week of my birthday. I have a lot to catch up on, but am so excited that I have to just make this one short post tonight. My mom and sister have been here the past few days and we worked it out so they could come to the Dr. with us and find out the sex of the baby. I'm so glad they were able to be there and share this with us, especially since they live so far away. It's really different being pregnant this time away from everyone so this made me feel like they were more of a part of things. (We had so much fun together and I will post pics later.)

Okay, so many of you may already know this, but Hudson is going to have a little.......

SISTER!!!!!

Isn't she cute?! We are so excited to have a little girl! (We would've loved a boy too!)

Grandma & Grandpa Hoyt

This week Cam's parents flew into town for a few days on their way to Florida. It was so great to see them and spend time together! Cam tried really hard to get some time off work and I probably saw him more than I have since we moved here. We picked them up in Houston on Tuesday and pretty much came straight back so Cam could go to work that night. On Wednesday, we visited Avery Island, where they make Tabasco Sauce. It was really pretty and interesting too. Thursday, we mostly hung out around the hotel where Cam works, ate at the buffet, and then everyone except me relaxed in the hot tub at our place that night. On Friday, Cam and I were able to go to a session at the temple together while his parents watched Hudson for us before we dropped them off at the airport. This was such a treat! (I have pics from that, but they borrowed my camera because their camera is broken, so they'll have to wait.)

As you can tell, we had a wonderful time! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for coming and visiting us! We love you!

San Antonio

For Labor Day weekend I decided to go and visit my cousin Ashley and her husband David in San Antonio. I was a little nervous about the 5 hour drive all by myself since Cam couldn't come. Hudson made it so easy and didn't cry a bit the entire time. We had a great time visiting my half sister. (We always said this when we were younger since our moms are twins!) She and David were so cute with Hudson and showed us a fun time. Thanks guys! We love you and hope to see you again soon!

We did a little shopping and then had lunch on the River walk. So fun! I love stuff like this. We also stopped by the Alamo real quick before we had to go.

Later on that day David and Ashley had a friend's wedding to go to. Hudson and I went to the reception, where Hudson made friends with everyone there!

On Monday we met up with some of their friends and had a BBQ at their apartment. David was so nice to take Hudson in the pool since we hadn't brought any of our swim stuff.
