One Month!

Kennady turned a month old this week! Needless to say, we are all still smitten by her, especially big brother Hudson. Today I had her in her bouncy chair while I was in the shower and she fell asleep. When Hudson got up from his nap, he kept going into our room to give her kisses. I kept shutting the door to keep him out, but he would just go right back in. Poor girl can't even get an uninterrupted nap! Another cute thing he's been doing is in the mornings immediately after he wakes up, he says "baby, shh!" meaning he wants to go see her, and knows he has to be quiet because she is sleeping. I am trying to enjoy these cute memories together with my sweet kids!

I had to post this picture of my two boys. They both got hair cuts this week and looked so cute together!

Matching!

I bought these shirts for the kids before Kennady was born. Kinda cheesy, but I had to! (I am actually really excited to have coordinating outfits for holidays and such. Poor kids!) I love these two so much and feel so blessed to be their mom! I am such a better person having them in my life.

Not a day goes by where I'm not blown away at how sweet and cute Hudson is. I love this face!

Kennady is truly the princess of the home! I feel such a responsibility to protect her and love her sweet spirit. She's so patient and calm.

More Family Fun!

We were so excited that Grandpa and Grandma Hoyt made it out for a visit. I feel so lucky to have married into such a wonderful family and love spending time with my in-laws. Hudson once again loved having more people around to play with. I always feel bad for him when our visitors leave. When he wakes up in the morning, he walks around looking for them, but obviously can't find them. I guess we both get lonely! :)

  • We went to Eden Gardens on Saturday, and it was beautiful! It was my first time going, and I'm so excited to go back and show Cam in person. I love finding places like this close to where we live!
Hudson loved looking at the fish

They were having a wedding there that afternoon

Grandma & Grandpa

  • Miss Kennady had her 2 week appt this week and is taking after big brother. She already weighs 9 pounds, 5 ounces! (I have to figure out what I'm feeding my babies to make them grow so fast!)
You can see her adorable chubby face here!

  • Cam was finally able to get a day off while his parents were here. Yay!!! He and his dad went deep sea fishing yesterday and had a great time!
Only a few of the fish they caught

We went down to the beach when they got home to grill up what they caught and enjoyed a walk with Grandma.

Hudson loved the fish!
Thanks Joel and Lorraine for making the trek out here and for all of your help! We love you and hope to see you soon!

Week Two

It was my first week all by myself with the kids, and it went pretty well! I am happy to say that I am feeling much, much better! Still not quite 100%, but I'll take it! I managed to get a shower every day and think I did a pretty good job at keeping the house cleaned up, too. :) Hudson has had a fever and then woke up today coughing, so I'm trying to keep him away from the baby as much as possible. Cam has been working long hours again, so we are really looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa Hoyt coming this week to keep us company!

Here are a few of the pics I took of Kennady yesterday. I tried to find someone out here to take newborn shots for us, but they are soooo expensive and I couldn't justify it. I did the best with what I have, and I think my baby girl is so beautiful!

Hope you all had a great Easter! Cam had to work, so it was just me and the kids hanging out watching conference. I really needed to hear the messages yesterday. There were several times where I felt that what was said was just for me. I love conference!

Happy Easter! (He folded his arms all on his own!)

I love my two babes! Hudson is just happy that I am letting him hold baby sister. I love how she is looking up at him.
