Let's rewind a bit....

To our last week in Florida and our journey back home. We actually managed to squeeze in a lot of fun amongst all of the packing. I still don't think I really believe that we moved! I'm sure that will change if and when we finally get settled in here...but back to Florida. We went for some nice drives around where Cam worked and took these:

We saw some amazingly beautiful sunsets and our good friend Dustin took some pics for us to remember the beach. I don't want to share them all because I'll probably use them for our Christmas card, but they're beautiful.

And then we made one last trip to the beach during the day to play and say our good byes. Tear.

We decided to leave a day earlier than planned, which I am so grateful for! A 26 ft truck pulling our van on a trailor equalled one slow ride! Hudson was totally obsessed with the truck and had to ride with daddy almost the whole three days it took us to get to Missouri.

I am so grateful for our great dads who both flew out there and drove home the rest of the way with Cam while the kids and I flew home. That wasn't a cake walk either though. I honestly felt like I deserved a prize for getting us home that day. I still don't know how I got all of our stuff on the shuttle bus and to the car!

It is great to be back home though. The weather has been beautiful and we have been busy with a lot of family stuff already. Cam started his new job on Monday and we think he's really going to like it!

Beach Bums!

I am a beach girl at heart. Always have been, always will be. Ever since we made our decision to move home, we have been even more inclined to go to the beach! Hudson even understands what it means now. The other day he found a swim diaper in his closet and brought it to me, saying that he wanted to go to the beach. It made me sad thinking he'll never remember all of the fun we've had here. I told Cam that we are going to have to come back every year for our birthdays in October. Sounds like a good plan to me!

We of course had to go show my sister our beautiful beaches while she was here! I love her!

Hudson thinks it is so funny to throw sand.

My cousin Stacey and her family came down again to play! It was neat that it worked out that KB was here to see them after 7 years!

Keri Beth with Kennady, Kailey, and Mary-Kate.

We rented a Yolo board one day to play on. It's a long board that you get on and paddle out. It was really fun! Here is Cam exploring the ocean.

Playing in the sand.

Hudson's saggy bum!

Also, we have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom today, the most beautiful beach bum out there! :) We love you!!!

Home at last!

My sister and I flew back to Florida on Tuesday with the kids. They were so well behaved and honestly couldn't have been better. I pray every time that we fly that they will be good, and they are! I can't explain how nice it is to be back together as a family! Cam and I felt silly over how excited we were. We had a few fun days with my sister and got to show her a few things here before she left. I am still behind on posting some UT pics, so here are some more things we did before we left.

Jenn and Carter came over to my parent's house to play!

Carter, you better be careful when you try and hold Kennady's hand, because Hudson is watching you! :)

We also spent a lot of time at the fair. Hudson was in heaven during the parade and didn't lose interest at all! He cheered and clapped for everyone that came by. After, he got to go on rides with his cousins. I seriously think it was one of the most fun times he's ever had! (My brother has most of the pictures from that day, so maybe we'll post more later!)

Me and my BFF forever (as Maddi called her) Erika

The other meaning to this post title is that we're moving back to Utah! Cam accepted a job on Friday and put his two weeks notice in the same day, so we will be packing up and moving pretty quick. It's a very exciting and nervous time for us. Cam feels like a million pounds have been lifted from his shoulders. We are so excited to have more time as a family and for him to be able to go to church with us. I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything that is happening! I am once again sad to leave great friends and will greatly miss the beach, but we feel like it will be what is best for our family at this point. Hopefully this will stop our record of moving around every 8 months!
