A New Niece!

We just wanted to say congrats to Tim and Kim who welcomed a new baby yesterday! Drew is Hudson's newest little cousin and we are so excited to meet her when we come home! What We've Been Up To

We had yet another great day together when Cam had a day off this week. First he took me to his work to meet some people and show me around. The hotel is beautiful and it was so fun to see his other home! Then we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens for the afternoon. They were gorgeous! I love going places like this, especially for the first time.

I have also turned into a bit of a Betty Crocker lately! I swear I bake something new every day, mostly to help pass the time! I have put my Bosch to good use and this was my first loaf of bread made all by myself! (Thanks mom, for helping me as much as possible over the phone!) I had better be careful with this new little hobby-it doesn't go well with trying to lose baby weight! :)

Great Friends

David and Rachel were here in Missouri for the summer selling security systems. I met Rachel when Cam and I were first married at school and we've been friends since. They were married last summer and we were finally able to get together so our hubbies could meet! We were so glad that we were able to catch up with them a few times before they left for home (Utah) this week. We have so many great friends. We miss you all and are so grateful for your friendship!

Here is a picture I took of Hudson this week since he is always sleeping when we go places! He is growing so fast and keeps getting more chubby every day!

A Fun Day Off

Cam had Wednesday off of work this week, so we decided to get out and have some fun! Here is how our day went....

• First we drove about 15 min from our house through some beautiful scenery to this small farm where we picked our own blackberries and peaches with Sharla and the kids. This brought back so many memories from picking raspberries at Bear Lake. It was so much fun!

• Next we rushed home, changed our clothes, dropped Hudson off at Shane and Sharla's, and drove to the temple. It is so beautiful! It was great to have a little date with my hubby! I felt like we were the only ones there in the middle of the day. We couldn't even find anyone to take our picture! :(

• Last, but not least, we drove down to the Missouri river and took a little walk as a family. Look at all of the trees! It was a perfect night! I love finding places like this to go and see when you are new somewhere. It was a great ending to a wonderful day together!

Our New Home

Well, "later on today" turned into days later, but here are some pictures of our new place. It's not all decorated yet, but we will get there someday. It is so fun to have a house again and it is really starting to feel like home!

This is Hudson's favorite thing about our new house-his swing! He can see his reflection up top and he loves it! He is getting such a cute personality and I feel so blessed to be the mom of a happy little boy!

We made it!

Hi everyone! I just got the internet and TV set up about 10 minutes ago at our house! The first thing I wanted to do is let you all know that we got to Missouri safe and sound. Hudson and I got back from an amazing trip with my fam to California and left about 6 hours later with Cam to make the drive out here. (Kim did a great job blogging about our trip, so check out their blog!)We are really liking it here so far! We bought a new townhouse (I'll post pictures later today) and it is so great to have a place of our own again! We have been so busy painting, putting up blinds, and getting everything in its place. It is finally starting to come together. We took a break the other night and went over to Shane and Sharla's pool. Shane is Cam's oldest brother and we are so glad that we are so close to them! They have four kids: Marlie, Jackson, Regan, and Harrison. It was the first time we put Hudson in the water and he loved it! This didn't surprise me because it was so hot outside!
