A little Update....

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been a slacker lately. Here's a bit of what's been going on with Cam and me:

• School has once again been keeping me extremely busy. I am very happy to say that I only have 17 days left!


• Our house is coming along great. They are starting finish trim this week, so yesterday Cam and I went and made a lot of decisions about what we wanted to put where. It is still on schedule to be done the beginning of May.


• We are down to 9 weeks before Hudson is due! We are SO excited! My belly is really getting bigger now with each week. You can now actually see it move when he moves around inside, which is all the time! I am still feeling really well. My biggest problem is that I keep getting colds that I can't get rid of. Is spring ever going to get here?!

I thought this picture was cute because you can tell how excited Cam is. At least someone likes my huge belly!

We have walls!

We only dug the hole a couple of weeks ago, but our house is coming along so fast! On Saturday Cam rounded up some help to frame the basement. We really appreciated all that they did. The house should be done by the middle of May, so I'm still optimistic that we will be in before Hudson comes. Way to go Cam!

My growing belly!!

I have said all along that I just wanted to look pregnant and not fat, but now I feel like it's out of control! It really has been a great pregnancy so far though. My only complaint now is my sore feet from teaching all day. I feel Hudson moving all the time which is so much fun. Some days I want him to be here right now, but I know it will come soon enough!

This is me the day we found out we were having a boy at 19.5 weeks!

Now here I am last night before the Aggie game. I will be 24 weeks tomorrow!

Who drives? Cam, unless we are in a hurry.
Who is more stubborn? He wishes he was, but it's all me.
Who kissed who first? We disagree about this, but we'll say it was both of us.
Who asked who out first? Well I called Cam first, then he called me and came to my house one night.
Who proposed? He did, and he knew he couldn't say" Will you marry me, Mary?" I heard that too much when I was teased as a child.
Who is more sensitive? Haha! Like you need to ask? Mary, and pregnant?!
Who has more siblings? He does. He has 7 and I have 4.

It's a.......

BOY!!!!! Cam and I are so excited to have a little boy! We already had a name picked out, so that part is done! His name will be Hudson Cameron Hoyt. It was so fun to have the ultrasound done. Everything looks really good and there was definitely no doubt that he is a boy! :) They sent us home with a disk of pictures, but it was only ones of his anatomy, so I am going to try and figure out how to scan some in sometime. I am doing my student teaching now, so I don't have a lot of spare time! We will keep you updated on how everything is going.

On Thursday we will go have our ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. We are so excited and hope that he or she cooperates! We thought it would be fun to poll our family to see what they think we are having. Here are our findings. We will let you know the true results after our appointment!

New Year's Sledding

On New Year's Day Cam got out the four wheeler and decided to pull his family around on a tube. I couldn't actually sled because I'm pregnant, but I did have fun watching and taking pictures. The highlight was hands down watching Cam pull his dad around! We were all freezing by the time we decided to go in, but it was a great time.
