We had a wonderful Christmas back home with our families. It was a little crazy driving all around, but it sure beat me sitting at home with Cam at work! Hudson still didn't understand it as much as I thought he would, but in a way it was nice. I figure we'll take full advantage of our kids not asking for everything under the sun while we can! Santa did find his way to our house though, and everyone was extremely happy with what he brought.
So here's how our holidays were spent: On Christmas Eve we went to my parent's house, as we had already done our get together with Cam's family the previous week. (It's hard getting so many people together!) We had a nice dinner, and then for the first time ever, dressed up the kids for a nativity program. It was so fun and will be our new tradition from now on! There was such a sweet spirit in the home that night.
Our angels, Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, and shepherds

Someone better have a baby before next year so we have a Baby Jesus! (And it won't be me! :) )

I really wanted to do a chocolate fountain for dessert, and even though I got a hard time for it, it was a hit!

We drove home that night so we could do our own Christmas in the morning before going back over to Tremonton. Here are the kids early Christmas morning seeing what Santa brought. Hudson got a big Tonka dump truck and loader that he loves, and Kennady got some cute baby toys and clothes.
Back at my parent's house, we had fun opening up presents and eating breakfast together. My parents are so generous and always do their best to make holidays special. Thanks mom and dad!

We then left from there and drove straight to the Hoyt's in Smithfield. We enjoyed seeing everyone there and visiting on the phone with Ashley, who is on a mission. Cam's mom is so creative with her gifts. This year each couple got a binder with an idea for a date each month, along with the things we will need to go on the date. Such a fun idea, and definitely something we will all benefit from!
Me and Kennady
It was late by the time we got back to our house again Christmas night, and we still hadn't opened presents from each other! The kids weren't really interested by this time, but had fun playing with their new toys. Cam got me a tripod, so we attempted a family picture in our PJs before going to bed.

The best I could do!
