Hudson turned 3 years old on June 1st. Even though I am sad our little guy is growing up, I have to admit that he is at such a fun stage. I was so excited to celebrate his birthday and his reactions did not disappoint.
On his actual birthday, we went to the park with a few friends and enjoyed these chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. They were a mess, but good!

We met my parents over at Firehouse, one of our favorites, so Hudson could get a peanut butter and honey pizza for dinner. Did I mention he LOVES peanut butter?
He was so pretty excited about his new car and Buzz and Woody jammies,

but every time you would ask him what he wanted for his birthday, he would say "birthday cake!" So I bought the figures and grandma had this made for his party on Sunday.
It was seriously better than Christmas morning! All of the kids (and adults) were so mesmerized by this adorable cake. Whenever someone new showed up to the party, Hudson would run up to them and make sure they came to see his cake. Thanks grandma!

The poor kids were trying to be patient while they waited for us to eat dinner. All they wanted to do was sing happy birthday and get some cake! This is Hudson's cute friend Krew that moved here a while ago. They are the best of friends now.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with us. It was such a fun night!

We love you Hudson! Thanks for being such a sweet, fun, full of life boy!

One of my favorite moments of the day: seeing Hudson's light on in his room about an hour after I thought he was asleep and finding this:
